"It was nice 4 day break for the family. I contacted the owner, John, after booking, he was very helpfull. He arranged the booking of the ferries which saved us well over £100. There was some work going on the ground behind the house, they were very discrete so it didn't really effect us. There are some very nice and uncrowded beaches around Yarmouth area. Overall it was a very pleasant experience."

"Excellent place to stay on my cycle tour of the Island. Bigger than I needed but a great price, would easily take a family; nice kitchen with all facilities, oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge, and provided with drinks (tea/coffee), milk, bread, butter, and cake. So a nice welcome and everything I needed particularly a hot, clean bathroom."

"Great location in city center and close to the ferry terminal. Fully stocked kitchen, if you wanted to cook. The only thing that was a disappointment was that there were no paper towels, napkins, tissues, shampoo, shower gel or soap provided. Very unusual for a vacation rental. Other than that I would Highly recommend. "

"Spacious, good location. Lovely property but showing signs of wear. Loose taps, shower smelt damp, kitchen floor missing in one place. Booked for 6 people but only beds made up to sleep 5- rang to tell the host who said more bedding would be dropped off but this wasn’t. Luckily found some in the cupboard and we had to make the spare bed up ourselves. Cobwebs and parts missed to be cleaned but otherwise a lovely stay in a peaceful location."

There was 6 of us in the property and we pleased that that it felt much bigger than the photo's on the listing convey. "Second Nature Southampton is a lovely hotel. The room we had was spacious and clean, with a nicely sized bathroom. It’s not a far walk to Oxford Street, where you can find a collection of good restaurants and pubs. St. Mary’s Stadium, the goal of our trip, was an easy twenty minute walk away. The friendly front desk staff can get a little overwhelmed, as they have to attend to check-ins and the cafe; and if you have an email with your parking confirmation, have it ready, otherwise you may be told to park on the street. Overall, they do their best to accommodate you. So if you’re going to Southampton, Second Chance is a fine choice for lodging."

"We have stayed at the Harbour hotel on a number of occasions, as well as many other hotels in the area. The hotel is in a great location, has a pool and spa, and in our opinion is the best hotel in Southampton. That said, the room we were allocated appeared to be an apartment rather than a hotel room. It had a full-sized kitchen, but most appliances had been disabled, but the room had little cupboard space for hanging clothes. As we were staying for 4 days, this was impractical. The room also didn't have a phone, so we had to use our mobile to phone reception."
